This is the same laundry detergent I have been making for my family for well over a decade. It cleans very well and each load requires only 1 or 2 Tablespoons depending on your machine. (works great for HE machines.)
Scent Note: This detergent is scented with pure essential oils and has a noticeable aroma when opened and used. Because it contains no synthetic fragrance oils or scent boosters, the scent left on fabrics after washing may be softer and more subtle than conventional scented detergents.
The kraft jar is sturdy and reusable, but when you are finished with it, you can toss it in your compost pile.
