The European Robin is a small, cheerful bird often found in gardens and woodlands. Known for its striking orange-red breast, this bird has captured my heart, inspiring me to paint it in a way that reflects its gentle charm. I was so taken with them, that I painted 3 of them. Using loose, painterly brushstrokes, I aimed to bring out the robin's warm presence. The painting measures 5x7 inches and is done in acrylic on Ampersand hardboard. You’ll see the robin perched delicately on a slender branch, with soft green buds hinting at the arrival of spring.
