If you have committed to washing dishes with bar soap for good, this listing is for you. :) They really are an easy and convenient way to clean. Simply place a bar in a cup or bowl and run hot water directly over it. Remove the bar and add dishes. My dishes have been noticeably cleaner since I started using these bars! Rub the bar in the dishrag to soap it up just as you would a shower bar. Expect to get about 8-10 dish loads per bar.
They are great multi-taskers. Use your lightly soapy rag to wipe counters, cabinets, stove, etc. (It will need to be rinsed from shiny surfaces.) They also make excellent laundry soap. I have used them for my family's laundry for well over a decade. For detergent, just shred the soap and combine with borax, washing soda, and baking soda. Scent as desired. Also use the bar to pretreat stains and to hand wash laundry.
